Ciao from Florence!! If you didn’t know, I’m spending a month in this beautiful city to study art and fashion! It’s only been 3 days, but I am absolutely loving my experience. Basically I wake up, tour cool architecture for art history, go learn about fashion, go eat at a delicious Italian restaurant, go shopping, get gelato, go to sleep, wake up, repeat. So, it’s pretty safe to say that I’m going to love this summer. I’m learning a lot of Italian, meeting a lot of cool people, and figuring out some nifty things about Italy (especially the best restaurants and gelaterias) but everybody knows that Italy is home to some of the world’s best fashion, and it definitely has not disappointed. I was completely baffled by the amount of high end stores I passed on a single block. Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Hermes, Dolce, Celine, you name it. So shopping here is SUPER FUN, although not very productive because I can’t afford a single thing in any of those stores. But window shopping is (almost) just as fun. But speaking of fashion, I decided I want to blog about most, if not all, of my outfits in Florence. I usually blog about one at a time but I definitely don’t have time to do a blog post per day, so I figured I’d group a few together on the blog at a time, so I can show y’all the outfits I put together for my stay in Europe.
Day one: This day was not one of my better outfits, but you have to cut me some slack because I had just gotten off of a very long plane ride, and I was jet-lagged and running on a single croissant and 26 minutes of sleep with a crying baby behind me. So it’s pretty simple. The top is from Anthropologie, and the earrings are from H&M
Day two: First day of class! I wanted to dress really comfortable (I have two 3 hour long classes right after each other) but still try and fit in with the chic street style in Florence. Top and pants are both from Anthropologie, and the sandals are Steve Madden.
Day three: Today! what a fun day. We climbed to the highest lookout to learn about a beautiful monastery for class, and we ate at the cutest and most delicious little restaurant for dinner and had a canole for dinner…. but that’s beside the point. Shirt and Dress are both from H&M, earrings are from Loft, backpack is from Zara, and shoes are Reebok. PS don’t wear a dress to climb a mountain.
Thanks for reading!! I’ll try and keep you all updated with my Italy adventures and fashion.
